The founder of Data Talent, Gino Lancaster, has been involved in the recruitment industry for the past 25 years and has extensive experience in recruiting strategic people from across the globe, including Europe, United States, Singapore and Australia.

    When we engage with a Client, we go further than taking down a job description, rather we consult and add value to the process. For Example Data Talent has a had a number of years experience recruiting Data Scientists, we have seen over the last 4-5 years how the understanding of the value of what a Data Scientist can deliever for the business has very much broadened. A Data Scientist were previously recruited for their understanding around Mathematics and Statistics and Data Analysis delivery.     One of key areas of recruitment in the last 18 months has been working with Technology Product Companies. So this has meant recruiting a mix of software engineering skills along with advanced data science & analytics understanding. Also when you throw in the mix of machine learning & artificial intelligence and working in a cloud environment the whole of these skills can be a challange in one candidate. So we have specifically built up data talent pipeline of these skills as we see the candidate market is moving to develop these skills. We can then over a great insight to our clients around availabilty and timeline of hiring.

We have engaged with companies who have tentively recruited their first Data Scientist ,Data Engineer or ML Engineer and have sometimes struggled with the concepts of their value to the business.
